WEEKEND WORKSHOPS · July 18–19 · Golfe-Juan

two mornings of movement, clarity, and discovery

Some poses feel impossible no matter how long you’ve been practicing. Some variations feel mysterious, random, or “just not for you”. And “modifying” a pose often feels like a downgrade rather than a smart choice.

This weekend will change the way you understand movement and yoga.

Across two mornings, you’ll explore how your body actually organizes itself in motion, why some asanas feel accessible and others don’t, and how small intelligent changes can radically transform your experience without forcing flexibility, chasing aesthetics, or pushing into shapes that don’t make sense.

If you’ve ever wished yoga felt clearer, safer, more personal, and more empowering, this weekend is for you.

Most practitioners are never shown why something feels hard,

which leaves many people believing they are the problem, instead of understanding that some poses are simply built in ways that make them inaccessible for many bodies.

At the same time, they’re led to believe that progress only happens by training toward the prescribed shape or extreme ranges of motion, instead of being shown how personal, accessible progressions can exist within the accessible variation of the pose itself.

Which leads to real, familiar problems:

• You push into shapes without knowing what the limiting factor is and end up with sore wrists, a stiff neck, or a body that feels unsettled rather than supported.

• When a pose feels out of reach, you blame your strength or flexibility and feel frustrated with your body compared to everyone around you.

• You hear “you can modify” and often assume the variation is a downgrade for “beginners”, so you keep aiming for the fancier shape even when it’s irrelevant or unrealistic for your body, instead of exploring goals that actually serve you.

• As a teacher, you want to offer meaningful options, but in real time you’re unsure what to choose, why to choose it, or how to explain it clearly.

• And when intensity is requested, the only available “progression” seems to be pushing deeper into ranges that aren’t safe or accessible.

All of this builds up in a way you can probably recognize: you blame your body, doubt your abilities, and wonder if you’re “behind”. You feel stuck between poses that don’t work for you (or your students) and variations that feel like a downgrade.

It’s not clarity, it’s not confidence, it’s guessing.

And it’s exhausting.

What if you could...

  • Understand what a pose actually asks from the body, so you can stop forcing and start practicing with intelligence and confidence

  • Recognize whether the challenge comes from strength, mobility, or structure, so you know what really matters

  • Choose variations that feel like smart choices, not backups

  • Create intensity through load, and smart mechanics rather than through extreme ranges

  • Feel grounded, capable, and clear in your practice

  • Teach in a way that is genuinely inclusive, intentional, and empowering

Imagine: instead of doubting your body, you trust what you feel.

Instead of mimicking shapes, you understand what’s happening.

Instead of confusion, there’s clarity and connection.

That’s what these two workshops are designed to offer.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Both mornings begin with Movement W/Yoga, a 75-minute movement session designed to help your body organize itself naturally with mobility, coordination, and strength blended into a fluid, grounded flow.

Then we dive into a focused workshop.

SATURDAY, JULY 18

Why Some Poses Feel Impossible (And What to Do About It)

10:00–11:15 · Movement W/Yoga

11:30–13:00 · Workshop

Some poses don’t “work” for you, and it’s not about discipline, practice, or willpower.

In this session, you’ll learn:

• What makes the most familiar asanas challenging for different people

• How mobility and strength interact in familiar poses

• How to recognize your own limiting factors

• How to adjust a pose for your mobility, strength, preferences, and needs

• How to help students do the same with clarity and confidence

You’ll walk away with tools that make your practice more grounded and your teaching more intentional.

SUNDAY, JULY 19

Smart Yoga Challenges

10:00–11:15 · Movement W/Yoga

11:30–13:00 · Workshop

You can’t force range of motion, but you can build strength intelligently.

In this session, you’ll explore:

• How to make postures more (or less) demanding without relying on mobility that simply isn’t realistically accessible to many bodies

• How to use muscular load to create meaningful intensity

• How small changes can alter the whole experience of a pose

• How to design challenges that are sustainable, accessible, and smart

• How to expand your toolkit for both personal practice and teaching

Perfect if you want fresh inspiration, a deeper sense of agency, and new ways to “progress” without performing extreme shapes or mobility demands that exclude most people.

MOVEMENT W/YOGA session — WHAT IT IS

A dynamic, structured, music-supported session blending:

• mobility

• coordination

• strength

• breath + rhythm

• structured movement exploration

It removes the pressure of asana and gives you space to reconnect with natural coordination and a wider movement vocabulary.

Accessible to anyone who can follow a Vinyasa class or feels comfortable with squatting, quickly getting down to and up from the mat, bearing light pressure on the wrists, and kneeling with weight on the knees.

A great practice for yogis, athletes, people returning to movement after a break, and experienced movers who want movement without performance pressure.
